An excellent description of The Adventurers Club

Brodie H. Brockie has composed "A logical plea to return to craziness" which also includes an excellent description of the club. Quoted below is a short sample, you'll have to go to The Disney Revue to read the rest.

But there was one other place on Pleasure Island that was like no other place on Earth - an incredible, hilarious, and inspiring interactive, immersive comedy/musical/theater/magic show/bar known as The Adventurers Club.

A Fanmade Gag, Illustrated

This caption made me chuckle:

"Otherwise Adventurers Club is as dead as the pilot of this plane in AC's foyer!"

I always thought the plane was "landed" there by Hathaway Browne. Oh.

Pleasure Island News: Hyperion Wharf Project Put On Hold

The official Disney Parks Blog posted the other day that the plan for Pleasure Island has been put on hold.

Over on Pleasure Island, we've completed removing some of the buildings that aren't part of our future plans. During the course of this site work, we identified opportunities to further refine our master plan and are pausing to evaluate them. What does this mean for you? While we're moving quickly, it will admittedly cause a delay in construction. But we're willing to bet that any delay will be worth the wait once we're able to share details about the exciting work we've been doing.

Editor's Note: The Adventurers Club building has not yet been removed.

I can think of one delay that will be "worth the wait", can't you, Adventurers? Of course, we can only speculate with wild rumors and hearsay, but perhaps this is a good sign! Pip pip, huzzah and Kungaloosh!
