Colonel Critchlow Suchbench Goes Up For Auction!

According to some of the message boards, Colonel Critchlow Suchbench is up for cast-member auction (meaning cast members can bid on him) starting at $1000. This means with almost (notice how we still don't give up hope) 100% certainty the club will never reopen in its original form.

Whoever ends up with the Colonel would/should somehow share it with the rest of us. It would be a shame if he was squirreled away somewhere never to be seen by the public again.

Of course, whichever CM puts in the winning bid could put it up on ebay, sending him to parts unknown.

What I'd really like to see is a blog or something with the Colonel traveling all over the world in photos. Maybe he could visit Congaloosh tribe members. Congaloosh Tribe 827 would readily give the Colonel a blowout reception at our headquarters.

Update: One message board goer, whom I believe to be a credible source, says there are three Colonels and this is just one of them.

Update 2: 5/9/2011, Another rumor now is that the Colonel has been pulled from the auction, possibly by Disney Archives.

Tribe 427 would welcome him as well. I really wish that TPTB at Disney understood exactly how much ill will they generate when they do stuff like this. It's sad to say, but I don't foresee myself ever wanting to visit a Disney park ever again.

The Colonel on the Road will keep the Adventurers Club alive.

Please note my last visit to the club, March 27, 2011.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obfu3mfCH9I
